This morning , about 57 and partly cloudy with West swell 10ft @ 9.6-12 sec’s and light SE winds. Water temp at 56.5, sunrise was at 5:26am, and high tide at 5:54am.  Later, low tide at 12:29pm with West swell 8ft@ 12 sec’s and W winds 5-10mph.  High of 62, partly cloudy.  Tonight W 8ft@12 sec’s with SW winds 5-10mph, low of 50, partly cloudy and 20% chance of rain,  high tide at 7:31p, and sunset at 9:12pm

Today is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, (Day-1), Operation Overlord, also the 90th anniversary of the birth of my mother…. Happy Birthday!!  She would have just turned 16 on D Day.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR HAZARDOUS SEAS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PDT THIS EVENING… The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Small Craft Advisory for hazardous seas, which is in effect until 10 PM PDT this evening. * SEAS…Steep at 10 to 12 ft with 12 second dominant period.
