39 this morning and some light rain.  SW 8ft@ 8 sec’s with light NW winds, water temp at 45, sunrise was at 6:40am, and high tide at 8:33am.  Few crab boats out there, one in fairly close.  Later today, about 47 and 90% chance of rain, WSW 7-8ft@ 8 sec’s with S winds 5-10mph. Minus low tide at 3:43p.  Tonight, WSW  7ft @ 10 sec’s with WSW winds 5-10mph, low of 41, clouds and 90% chance of rain. Sunset at 6:12pm, and high tide at 10pm.

SEAS BUILD AGAIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING LIKELY REACHING 15 FT WITH POTENTIAL TO REACH 18 FEET. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR HAZARDOUS SEAS MEANS THAT WAVES ARE EXPECTED TO BE HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT. MARINERS SHOULD AVOID SHOALING AREAS. LONG PERIOD SWELL CAN SHARPEN INTO LARGE BREAKING WAVES IN SHOALING AREAS. IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR WAVES TO BREAK MUCH FARTHER FROM SHOALING AREAS THAN IS NORMALLY EXPERIENCED. REMEMBER… BREAKING WAVES CAN EASILY CAPSIZE EVEN LARGER VESSELS. A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED… BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN.
