This morning,  just plain beautiful in CB, cold…. about 48 but sunny.  Hard to believe starting Thursday, the weather is going to change dramatically.  Before I get into the surf / weather report.  I need to make this statement:

FRIDAY – TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK, WE WILL NOT BE RENTING OUT EQUIPMENT OR OFFERING LESSONS.  SWELL WILL BE 12-25FT WITH HIGH WINDS.  I DON’T CARE WHAT THAT REPORT OUT OF LONDON WILL SAY!

Back to today…. damn, if you can get out and go, grab the longboard and get out there….. beautiful!!  WSW 3ft@ 6-17 sec’s with light SE winds, water is 55, low tide was t 3:53am, sunrise at 7:29am, and high tide at 10:22am. Later today, W 3-4ft@ 12 sec’s with S winds 10-15mph, low tide at 4:21pm.  This evening, it starts….  W 4-5ft@ 10 sec’s with S winds 15-25mph, gusts to 40mph, low of 56, clouds and 100% chance of rain.   Sunset at 6:34pm
High wind watch from 2pm Thursday – 2p on Friday, 25-35mph with possible gusts 65-75mph. 
Tonight, 7pm, 50% chance of rain with S winds 10mph
8p- 70% with SSE winds 12mph
9pm 85% with SSE winds 14mph
10pm 90% with SSE winds 16mph.

Thursday: WSW 10-12ft@ 8 sec’s with S winds 20-30+mph, low of 56, high of 61 and 100% chance of rain and wind
Friday: WSW 15+ft@ 8 sec’s with SW winds 24-35mph, 53/58, clouds and 100%
Saturday: SW 12-15ft@ 8 sec’s with SE winds 25-50mph, high wind watch, 53/57, clouds and 100%
Sunday: SW 20+ft@ 10 sec’s with SSW winds 10-17mph, 50/56, clouds and 90%
Monday: WSW 12-15ft@ 10 sec’s with SSW winds 10-15mph, 51/56, clouds and 80%
Tuesday: SW 20+ft@ 10 sec’s with SW winds 10-15mph, 50/57, clouds and 80%

Spoke to Gary Linden yesterday, said the “official “ start of the Big Wave Season is Oct. 15th…… looks like it is kicking off !  He is on his way to Portugal for the big wave event…..  poor bastard!
