Wind and rain today. Early this morning, around 2a, we had a Tsunami watch / warning for this area due to a series of earthquakes in the Gulf of Alaska , SE of Kodiak. The warning was lifted around 4a, but for a period of time, our first responders were monitoring the situation closely, Both Cannon Beach PD and Cannon Beach Fire & Rescue, did a great job in preparing and for any situation.
This morning, S swell 12.1 ft @ 6.5 – 8 sec’s with SSE winds 15-20mph, about 45 and rain. Water temp at 51.1. High tide was at 4:17am, sunrise at 7:47am, and low tide at 10:36am. Later today SW 8-10ft@ 8 sec’s with S winds 20-30, gusts 40+mph, high of 51 with 100% chance of wind and rain. High tide at 4:23p and sunset at 5:08p. Tonight SW 12ft@8 sec’s with S winds 15-30mph, low of 43 and 100% chance of rain. low tide at 10:21pm.

Thursday: SW 12-15ft@ 10 sec’s with SW winds 15-20mph, 39/45, clouds 100%
Friday: W 12-15ft@ 12 sec’s with SW winds 10-15mph, 40/46, clouds and 80%
Saturday: SW 15ft@12 sec’s with SSW winds 15-20mph, 47/51, clouds and 60%
