Got this from my son this morning, reminded me of when the kids were growing up, and we would make the run to the Res. up north of Seattle………..  Great Fireworks up there…..  was a good time to grow up!!

Hey Gang,

I don’t know about you, but the 4th of July is by far my favorite holiday. I love everything about it, the parades, the flags, the bbq’s, the weather, the fly-overs, and of course the fireworks.

Every year mom bought sparklers and snakes and tried to convince dad that they were all us kids needed, and every year dad covertly loaded us in the Red Bomber (1982 Caprice Classic)  to make a run for the ‘good stuff’.

Some of my best memories as a kid were making that annual pilgrimage to the local fireworks shop located 6 exits to the west, next to the Truck stop and Lions Den.

And although I was never sure why truckers would have time/interest in seeing lions in a den at a truck stop, I knew that as long as we ‘swore’ we weren’t going to fire them off in our state, we were going to walk out of that store with an arsenal of sweet, sweet freedom.

In honor of the most American of holidays we are running a buy one, get one half-off sale now through July 4th. Stop on by and save yourself a few bucks on some tees, and don’t forget to head on down the road to the exit by the Lions Den to pick up a few Whistlin’ Bungholes and Spleen Splitters.

Have a safe and OUT-standing 4th of July weekend!
