And…… the weather changes…….. This morning 50 and cloudy with WSW swell 6.6ft@ 8.2-10 sec’s and S winds about 5 mph. Water temp up to 50.2, high tide was at 1:25am, sunrise at 7:16am and low tide at 7:34am. Later today SW 5-6ft@ 10 sec’s with SSW winds 10-15mph, high of 54, cloudy and 20% chance of rain. High tide at 1:32pm.
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 11 PM PDT FRIDAY… …SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR HAZARDOUS SEAS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM FRIDAY TO 6 PM PDT SATURDAY… The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Small Craft Advisory for winds, which is in effect from 9 AM to 11 PM PDT Friday. A Small Craft Advisory for hazardous seas has also been issued. This Small Craft Advisory for hazardous seas is in effect from 11 AM Friday to 6 PM PDT Saturday. * WINDS…Southerly winds will gradually increasing Friday morning. Winds becoming south 15 to 20 kt, with gusts 25 kt later in the morning, and staying as such through the afternoon into the evening. * SEAS…6 to 7 ft tonight, but seas will build to near 10 ft Friday morning, then hold at 11 to 12 ft through Friday evening. Larger swell will arrive Friday night, keeping seas at 12 to 13 feet for Friday night through Saturday.
