Cold and clear this morning,  32 at the Ecola main parking area this morning.  West swell 7+ft@ 10 sec’s with S winds 5-10mph, mostly sunny today, water temp at 47, high tide was at 5a, sunrise at 7:19a.  Crab boats are out, as were a couple herds of Elk.  Later today, WNW 6-7ft@ 10 sec’s with NNE winds 10-15mph, high today of 54, mostly sunny and 0% chance of rain. Low tide at noon.  This evening, WNW 6ft@ 10 sec’s with ENE winds 10-15mph, high tide at 6:42p, and sunset at 7:27pm.  Low of 40 and partly cloudy tonight.

Met up with the ranger at Ecola….  There is a possibility that the road to Indian Beach MAY open by next weekend, the start of our Spring Break!  I will stay in touch on this one,  but I can’t stress enough to be careful on the road into the park…..  with all the rain we have had, the State Parks have not had enough dry days to work on the roads.  Hopefully this week….but doesn’t look good….  but for sure before summer!  When you see the sign that says “Slow “  “ Dip”, come to a stop and ease on over the edge….you won’t be sorry…. go like hell, and you might end up there……
