Had one long drive yesterday….. left Sun River around 6:45am, heavy snow, pretty nasty until I got to Detroit, then was good until Banks….. then the snow started, and the POS drivers came out of the woodwork….. didn’t see any cars off the side until then…. from Banks to Camp 18, over 12 off the side… and people driving less than intelligently…….long ass drive!
This morning here, clear and 27 with West swell 6.2ft, clean up sets around 8ft @ 10-18 sec’s with light SE winds, water temp at 48.2, high tide at 3:29am and sunrise at 7:26am, low tide at 9:49am. Later today NW 6-7ft@15 sec’s with SSW winds 15-25mph, high of 42, clouds and 90% chance of rain later. High tide at 3:41pm. Tonight WNW 7ft@15 sec’s with W winds 15-25mph, low of 38, clouds and 100% chance of rain. Sunset at 5:35p and low tide at 9:39pm.
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WINDS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 1 PM PST MONDAY… …GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY EVENING… The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Small Craft Advisory for winds, which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 1 PM PST Monday. A Gale Watch has also been issued. This Gale Watch is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * WINDS…West winds increasing to 20 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt this afternoon
