This morning, you can see the ocean….. nice change from yesterday! First pictures are of a new board that we just got in…. a Custom , hand shaped Linden 6’10” Classic pintail single fin. What makes this board unique, is the deck patch. As we know, Gary has been the king of Agave boards for over 35 years, he harvests the agave, dries it, mills it, glues it up and shapes it. Now, he is trying to make a 100% agave surfboard. The deck patch on this board is one of the first pieces of Agave Cloth, made from the stalk that will be taking the place of fiberglass cloth on his 100% board…. turned out beautiful!! He is now trying to perfect an Agave Resin to use on the boards…. last step towards the 100% Tequila Board. Another little known project is a agave electric guitar project that he is working with Fender on…. no, Gary does not play the guitar…. but, he has been working on some prototypes. All this while he is still heavily involved in the Big Wave surf contests around the world……
