Early this morning, we had thunder, lightning, heavy rain, wind and hale……  now 46 and mostly cloudy with SW swell 18.7ft@ 9-13 sec’s and S winds 25-30mph, water temp at 52.5, sunrise was at 7:13am, and high tide at 8:33am.  Later today SW 20+ft@ 10 sec’s with SW wins 25-40, gusts 50+, high of 54, 100% chance of rain and wind. Low tide at 2:51p.  Tonight SW 20ft @ 10 sec’s with SSW winds 15-25mph, gusts 35+mph, low of 46 with 90% chance of wind and rain.  Both a high surf and wind advisory is posted.  Sunset at 4:46p, and high tide at 8:47pm. 
HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING… * WINDS… SOUTH WIND 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 65 MPH IN THE COASTAL COMMUNITIES AND 40 TO 50 MPH WITH GUSTS 70 TO 80 MPH NEAR BEACHES AND HEADLANDS. * TIMING… THE STRONGEST AND MOST WIDESPREAD WINDS ARE EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. * IMPACTS… STRONG WINDS MAY BLOW DOWN LIMBS, TREES, AND POWER LINES. SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES ARE POSSIBLE. TRAVEL WILL BECOME DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ALONG HIGHWAY 101.
