The storm hit this morning…… and it is blowing!!!!  This morning,  SSW 12-13ft@ 6-9 sec’s with S winds 30-35mph right now with some gusts to 50.  Air temp at 41, water at 51. Low tide was at 4:31am, sunrise at 6:44am and high tide at 10:27am.  Later today, one hell of a blow,  SW 12-15ft@ 8 sec’s with SSW winds 35-50 with gusts to 70mph, high of 50 with 90% chance of rain.  Low tide at 5:05pm.  Tonight , SW 15-20ft@ 6 sec’s with SSW winds 25-50mph, low of 41, and 100% chance of rain. Sunset at 7:52pm.

STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON… * WINDS… SOUTH WINDS 35 TO 45 KT WITH GUSTS TO 55 KT. WINDS WILL DECREASE BELOW 30 KT BETWEEN 7 AND 10 PM * SEAS… COMBINED SEAS TO 24 TO 28 FT. THE SEAS WILL LOWER TO BELOW 18 FEET AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A STORM WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 48 TO 63 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT… OR TAKE SHELTER UNTIL WINDS AND WAVES SUBSIDE. COMMERCIAL VESSELS SHOULD PREPARE FOR VERY STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS SEA CONDITIONS… AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL WINDS AND WAVES SUBSIDE
