76th anniversary of Pearl Harbor….most of you will understand.  This date was best described as a similar day to 9-11 for the younger folks  (under 50) of today,   Most of the survivors are gone, so it is our generation that must remember……as some know, in my corporate days, I would always plan my trip to be in Honolulu on this date, one of the few things I miss about the old corporate days……. but glad I did it.
This morning, was cold early, about 39, now up to about 45 and sunny with WSW swell 4.6ft@ 4.9-14 sec’s and E winds 10-12mph.  Water temp at 52.5, high tide was at 3:20am, sunrise at 7:44am and low tide at 8:54am.  Looks like some fun waves this morning!  Later today WSW 3ft@13 sec’s with E winds 5-10mph, high of 59 and sunny with 0% chance of rain. High tide at 2:36p and sunset at 4:30pm.  Tonight W 2-3ft@15 sec’s with E winds 5-10mph, low of 39, partly cloudy and 0% chance of rain.  Minus low tide at 9:38pm.  No rain in the forecast!
Boat with Japanese markings is still there, looks like some have been trying to cut the ropes off the propeller shaft to try and get the propeller off……   not sure when the  salvage company will take it off the beach.
