76th anniversary of Pearl Harbor….most of you will understand. This date was best described as a similar day to 9-11 for the younger folks (under 50) of today, Most of the survivors are gone, so it is our generation that must remember……as some know, in my corporate days, I would always plan my trip to be in Honolulu on this date, one of the few things I miss about the old corporate days……. but glad I did it.
This morning, was cold early, about 39, now up to about 45 and sunny with WSW swell 4.6ft@ 4.9-14 sec’s and E winds 10-12mph. Boat with Japanese markings is still there, looks like some have been trying to cut the ropes off the propeller shaft to try and get the propeller off…… not sure when the salvage company will take it off the beach.
