Pretty good drive down..... left Williams about 4a.... only hit bad traffic around Bev.Hills, and it was nasty on 405.... I wish I could get the damn camera to work with the damn laptop..... got some great pics...... did some biz, then got to Oceanside, boards weren't ready, so I went and got a few of the knee to waist high waves in Carlsbad.... going to meet Gary Linden in the morning, and see if the surf gets any better.... should be fun anyway. then pick up the boards and head to the parents house and prepare for cocktails with my sisters..... might get ugly...... Water is warm.... had to peel the wetsuit down, and the sun was way bright, hard to spot the monster nuggets coming at you.... the good news, had a little peak all to myself......

No pictures on the way down, but rained like hell most of the way until I got to Weed.... then the sun broke out.... drove until about 7p, pulled over in Williams. Long day, stopped in Eugene and had a bagel and coffee with the bird.... good to see her place, and see her stressed over studying.... Should be in Santa Monica at a reasonable time on Friday, and hopefully get a late session in O'side or??? All depends on damn traffic..... got stuck in bumper to bumper in of all places... Redding!?!?!?! go figure.......
