got up early, hit Indian….. junky….., SB was up earlier and left… Foot and Finger and myself looked it over…. might be better when some water gets in, around 10a or so…… We start our “losing employees week”…. going back to school etc, so the fun begins…. so….. finger gave me a ride to Warrenton to pick up the Stepvan…. to replace the ambulance…. it is big, white….. not sure what we will name this beast….. Today, NW 5-7ft @ 9-12 sec’s with am light N winds, gusting later to 25mph. High tide at 11am…. low tide at 4:30p later. Tuesday W6ft @ 10 sec’s with light NW winds. Wed and Thurs. W 4ft with light N winds, then Friday picks up to W7ft with W winds 15+mph…..
Heard from a few people about the excitement up at Indian yesterday…… sounds like a couple of kayakers pulled some kids from a church group out of the “surfers depository”…… riding of course those really neat NSP boards….. glad we don’t rent those…….. several accounts of the story, so we will just leave it that when large groups go to the beach, might be good to have someone around that knows what the local conditions are all about……. and might have a clue to what safe surfing is about as well.

I am not sure what the hell “the foot” is thinking, but……… nice shot!!!! guess he is going “soft” on us……

Overcast, but muggy this morning….. no wind early. W4ft @ 10 sec’s with N winds picking up this afternoon, along with the swell to 6ft. High tide at 10:21am, low at 3:30p today. Sun should burn off some of the clouds, should be a nicer day today……. heard some great surf reports from yesterday, hopefully today will be almost as good……
Monday (when I finally get to go) W 7ft @ 13 sec’s with am light N winds, high tide at 11am, low at 4:45am…… not sure where I will go first in the morning…… Tuesday W4ft with light NW winds Wed. W 4ft with light SW winds Thurs. W 5ft with light SW winds……

Great morning, sun is out, swell picked up a bit from yesterday, but still pretty junky over here…… SW, yes, Southwest Swell 9ft @ 11 sec’s with am light S winds, picking up to 20mph today. Swell will turn more from the west later today, but still hold up. High tide at 8am, low at 1pm. You can see some big clouds moving in from the south, so we will probably get some light rain later….. forecast is calling for some light rain on Sat. morning as well, then sunshine….. Swell on Sat W 7ft @ 10 sec’s with light N winds and high tide at 9:20am. Sunday W 4ft with N winds gusting to 20+ later in the day, highs around 69 degrees, high tide at 10:20am. sunshine through at least Wed. Monday W 7ft with N winds 20+ Tuesday W 5ft with N winds 20+ As soon as I can get out of here, think I will look around…….

Foggy and colder this morning, air temp about 52…. but, sun will burn off some of this crap later this morning….. Swell dropped to NW 4-6ft @ 10 sec’s with light S winds this morning. high tide was at 6:50am, low around noon. Might go take a drive later this am, after the store stuff is done….. Friday, W8ft @ 11 sec’s with light SE winds, but a chance of rain in the morning. Sat. W7ft with light N winds, Sunday, W 6ft with N winds 20+mph….then Monday W 7ft with N winds gusting 25+ later in the day…..

Big……. W 10-12ft wtih light N winds early, little off shore with intervals around 10 sec’s….. N end not too bad, but pretty messy….. Swell should start to drop later in the day and clean up, by 6p should be about W 7ft. Thursday drops to W 4-5ft with light SE / S winds. Friday starts to pick up again to W 6-7ft with light SE winds again…. Sat and Sun will probably be about W 5-7ft with light N winds on Sat, picking up to 25+mph on sunday. Monday W 8-9ft then tuesday will drop to about W 6ft…… Good morning to hike on the beach…. couple of dead seals….. lots of water moved the logs around, and washed alot of caca out…… still some plastic laying around….. Air temp around 70′s today, and the sun is coming out….. so….should be a nice day at the coast!!

Thursday drops to NW 5ft with light S winds and low tide at noon. Friday picks up again to W9ft with light NE winds and high tide at 8am. Sat. W8ft with light N winds and high tide at 9:20am.
Worked the shop this morning, and had a good coffee break with SB and Flounder…… damn, just when I think I may have a few prob’s, that damn Flounder jumps in with his life, and shit……. I just feel better!!!! Thanks Flounder….
Weather is clearing up as I write this, going to be a damn nice day at the coast……

Got back from a fun early morning session…. started out a little bigger, but now about waist to chest…. water is cold…… damn cold…… good group in the water, early, Stuck Up, Cheap Bastard and The Foot…. then Finger, jyanail and piddle joined in with a few other guys….. sun is out, water was pretty glassy……. NW 4-5ft @ 9-10 sec’s this morning. Light N/NW winds this moring. Low tide at 9:45am, high at 4p today. Tuesday looks like NW 5ft in the morning, building to NW8ft later in the day, with light S winds am, turning NW later at 20+mph. Wed. NW 9-10ft with NW winds 15mph…. Thursday W 7ft with light S winds, then Friday W9ft with W winds. Next weekend looks like N 6-7ft…. sunshine all week here in CB…….. Brutal weekend on our rental boards….. snapped the tail off the hammer, nose off a Linden, fcs plugs out of the Linden Rio, cracked the nose on a softop…… damn…….. Sandy is busy doing alot of fixes for next weekend!
Let me set the record straight on my feelings of dogs……… for 30 of the 35 yrs. Mar and I have been married we have had dogs….. big ones and little ones…… overall, I like dogs….. it is the owners of dogs that I have a hard time with….classic example…. this weekend, one of our local girls brings her new boyfriend around….. good…… and her dog…. so, she decides that the chairs out in front of the shop are perfect for people watching…. no problem…… it is in fact a great place to hang out…… but……… here is where I get pissed…. she lets her dog run loose in front of the store, bugging people, sniffing crotches, and being an overall pain in the butt….. so, it comes over and gives my leg a sniff while Cheap Bastard and I are having a discussion….. I got a little pissed…. he laughed, she and her dippo boy finally got the idea and left….. just because you have a dog that you love, doesn’t mean everyone around you wants to love the dog…….. so……… hope this clears up any misconceptions about my feelings for dogs…….

Yep……. Sandy and I walked out to take the morning shots……. after dodging a few of those small land mines hidden in the grass, I noticed this little present…… now, notice, that our city has gone through the pain and expense of putting in the bag dispensers for people to clean up after their dogs……… but apparently we now need to tell people that they are responsible for disposing of THEIR DOGS Land mines…… Not my dog……. hell no…. my little precious doesn’t leave a mess……. hell, lets let someone else deal with it……..
