N winds picking up as the day goes to about 25 mph. Sun finally broke out for a bit yesterday around 1p, probably the same for today. Monday , it picks up a bit to W4ft @ 13 sec's with light N winds......... yep, might get out for a late morning session.... Tuesday W5ft with light N winds..... Wed. W 4ft with N winds 25+ mph, and wind waves 6 ft Thursday W 4ft with N winds 25+mph.....

Overcast again this morning, reports calling for partly cloudy today.... sun didn't break out yesterday until the afternoon, probably the same today. AM W 3-4ft @ 7 sec's with very light N winds, but the winds picking up to 20+ later, and the swell dropping to 1 ft.... with wind waves of 5ft....... should be interesting..... damn minus low tide this morning at 7:30a......... clammers are happy....... Sunday...WTF?? NW 1 ft @ 7 sec's, with N winds in the pm at 25+mph... wind waves at 6ft...... Monday, picking up to W 3ft with N winds 15mph Tuesday W 4ft with N winds 15mph. Wed. W 4ft with N winds 20mph... Good news, weather reports calling for either partly cloudy or mostly sunny for the next 10 days........ best place to go to get surf..... who the hell knows!?!?!? Good luck..... good days for people just learning....but will need plenty of foam! "Flounder" should be happy!

Damn minus tide at 6:45am.... to quote SB..... "looks shitty"...... NW 3ft @ 11 sec's, very light N winds this morning, but by noon, the winds have been picking up to 25+mph..... probably the same for today..... Going to give it some time, then go check the "epic" spots...... Sat., NW 2ft @ 10sec's with wind waves 5-7ft, and N winds picking up in the afternoon 25+mph...... Sunday W 2ft with N winds 20+mph and wind waves 5 ft Monday W 4ft with N winds 15mph wind waves 5 ft Tuesday W 4ft with N winds 15mph and wind waves 4 ft..... Sun should be out by 10a or so...... so, at least we will have good weather for the weekend. I will post later on the blog, if any surf is found....... or maybe not.......

We did get out for some "waves"...... good group did paddle out...... Damn minus low tide at 6a..... so, I decided to get the pictures done, work a bit in the store, then go in search of epic waves around 8a...... Looks all of the NW 3ft @ 7 sec's being called for....... no wind this morning, but it is supposed to pick up later N 30+mph. Sun is out, so it can't be all bad! Looks like it will pick up on Friday and Sat to NW 6-7ft through sunday.... but, afternoon N winds 25-30+mph. Monday should drop to W5ft with N winds 15mph..... and everyday sunshine. Little cold this morning, was 39 when I left the house..... but we should see a high in the mid 60's today........ The new business upstairs should be ready to be open by June 1st..... waiting for the cabinet and some paper work....oh yea and some "inventory"........

High tide at 11a today, low at 4:45p...... Thursday looks about the same, W 4ft @ 7 sec's with N winds 25+ Friday NW5ft with N winds 25+mph, 6:45a, damn minus low tide..... Sat. NW 5FT With N winds 25+ mph, 7:30a damn minus low tide Sun. NW 6ft with N winds 25+mph, 8:17a, damn minus low tide..... YEP...... damn minus low tides........ so much for some early morning sessions.... But, at least the sunshine will be out!!! So....took a pass on the morning session.... give the sinus infection another day off...... not happy about that one....... but.... sunshine later today, that seems to help!!!

Drove around this morning..... the first picture is the best surf I saw all morning, and that was a freak set.... looked more like a lake pacific out there..... W 2/4ft @ 8-12 sec's with light W winds, picking up to NW later. Wed. W 4 @ 8sec's with am light winds picking up to N 25+mph later in the day. Thursday W 5ft with NW winds 25+...... Friday NW 6 with N winds 20+, then Saturday, NW 5ft with am light N winds picking up later to 25+mph..... So....... short drives south seems to be the call for the week.......... Rain this morning, but should start clearing up for Wed - Mon..... sunshine......

got out before the crowds with Doc and Cheap Bastard...... can't say it was "epic" surf, but had some fun ones, and some that just junked out..... shifty and mushy, with one every now and then that could give a good spanking..... felt good to get wet after the busy weekend. I could see how the guy who took out one of our new 9'6" linden rental boards snapped a foot or so off the nose..... shore break could be on the brutal side....... Rest of the week looking pretty much the same until friday when it picks up to NW 7ft with N winds 25+mph...... Today W 3-4ft (waist to chest) @ 8 sec's with light NW winds..... Tuesday W5@9sec's with light W winds Wed. w4ft with N winds 20+ THurs. W 4 with Nwinds 25+ Looks like it will be a good week to stay in Cannon Beach ...... probably better about 10 miles south of Cannon Beach...... no doubt...... epic.......

Winds are supposed to pick up later to N 30+mph.... looks like a bit of weather coming in...... Monday W 4 @ 8secs with light N winds..... probably won't hit sandyland, but that other epic spot....... although, the shorts will be the place to be seen....... Tuesday, about the same, but with W winds about 15mph. Wed. W 4ft with N winds 25+mph..... and thursday, about the same, but with some NW in the swell, and N winds 25+mph..... Won't take a genius to figure out where to go this week....... or , maybe it will........ Going to add more comments to the mini rant on monday..... need to get downstairs, busy already........
