The big nasty “seas” did not hit this morning…. but, we did get some wind and rain…. This morning looks like W 5-7ft @ 9-10 sec’s with S winds 20+ . supposed to build to SW9ft @ 12 sec’s…… S side of the rock looks junky and all over the place, the north side just looking small and mushy. (last picture)………. where we surfed yesterday might still be good today…….. Monday SW 9-10ft with strong SE winds….. Tuesday still supposed to pick up to SW 11ft with SW winds 25+,then on Wed and Thursday the swell drops to W8ft with SW/S winds…..
Looks like rain for the next 10 days….. guess we are back to normal Oregon weather, but hopefully no damn ice!!!!! Have a great day! No rant today…. had my son down this weekend, and actually got some of the painting done on the new building…… might actually get him and another copper down next weekend to finish up the job……. wonders will never cease!!!

Late report this morning, got out with “the foot”, up north, fun on the new board…… alot faster than the old one, and quicker on the turns….. taking a bit to get used to it, but liking it alot! good to see the foot on his long board….. got a bunch of fun ones…. Surf was waist to chest, cold water, and the E winds at first were nice, but as the morning went on, got colder… hell, I even pulled up my hood for awhile….. damn!!!! SW 6-7ft with SE winds gusting later to 20+mph.. Sunday looking better than previous reports…. SW 8ft with S winds 25+. Monday, on the nasty side, 9-10 ft seas with 35 mph winds. Tuesday,starts to clean up again SW11ft with SW winds….. Wed W8ft with SW winds……
Good to see Sandy B making sure his truck wasn’t stolen…….. he still looks cute.

Sun is out, still cold, but surf looking less than the reports calling for SW 10ft. Looks more like SW7ft and junky here, but some reports saying that just north looking pretty good…… and I am stuck in the shops today……… go figure! Supposed to pick up to 9-10ft later with SE winds hitting maybe 10 mph. Nice day here!! Sat. (yes, I will go) SW7ft with light SE winds in the am……, then Sunday, seas 13ft, some rain and SE winds 30+….. Monday gets bigger, seas 16ft with S winds 30-40mph…… but then tuesday, things get better…. SW 12ft with SW winds 20+……….. so…. a couple of fun days, a couple of not so fun, then back to the fun…….

Yes…. late report….. the foot and I got out this morning….. report was calling for SW8ft @ 15 sec’s building to 9-10ft later today. What we got, was a few overhead fun drops, but the off shores were howling, made it tough to drop in, and got blown off a couple….. but, water was still on the cold side, and the swell direction was NW then SW , then NW…. moving around….but air was mid 40′s….. damn, felt good to get out, and get the new board wet……. hell yes! Friday looks about the same, SW 10ft with SE winds about 15mph…. short trip north might be in order…… Sat. looking fun…. SW6ft with light SE winds…. might go back to IB, or Shorts might be another good call….. Sunday and Monday…. Seas 14ft with S/SW winds 30+ mph….. Sun is sorta out…. little of this and little of that…… still another damn nice day on the coast!!

Had all the best of intentions this morning..(even put my wetsuit on in front of the fireplace this morning)… Surf report was calling for W 5ft @ 16 sec’s and light E winds…. perfect for Indian…… so, we all showed up…. Stuck up went and left early, the foot, jyanail, cheap bastard, suburu, even the jules was on her way up…… actually, surf was W7ft on the lulls, and at least W 10ft + on the sets @ 13-15 sec’s, with light SE winds….. So……. back here….. Mr. Suburu said sdn was bigger and not as clean….. so, I am back at the shop………… damn……………… Thursday’s report is calling for W9ft @ 14 sec’s with light E winds……….. Friday SW 10ft with SE/S winds about 10-15mph………….. Sat. SW 8ft with SE winds 20+mph Sun SW9ft with SW winds 25+

Took the drive, went to sdn first….. pass…… the foot went out with 2 others…. he got a few….. so I went back to Indian…. if the tide weren’t on the way out, would have gone…. Met up with stuck up, decided to meet him up there early in the am on wed.

OK….. first picture is from yesterday….. I call it ” stupid dog pictures”…… Alika and Mike stopped by yesterday with the new dog…… shark outfit…… yea… cute…….. uh uh…….. love dogs……uh uh…… Surf this morning looks like it dropped a bit…. W 6-7ft @ 13 sec’s, but looks more like 8-10 sec’s out in front. Going to take a drive this morning, IB , then????? we will see…… Wed. W 6ft @ 15 sec’s with light SE winds…… Thursday SW9ft with light E winds, then Friday SW 10ft and E winds gusting 20+mph…. so…. later this week, north will be the better call… The weekend is starting to look much better…. SW8ft with light E winds on Saturday.
Cloudy today, but looks like we will get some sun today as well….. didn’t have to scrape ice this morning….. was 37 when I got to the shop at 6a……

About a month ago, I had the joy of posting the scan of Mart Aarron’s baby on the way in Wales…… now, I get to post Brook and Cory’s ultrasound picture!!! congrats!!! A nicer young couple I have yet to meet…… these two will be great parents…. and congrat’s to the grandparents to be!!! I didn’t think “the foot” had it in him………… Now….. if only the surf will clean up for a mid morning session on Tuesday!!!

Happy Presidents day! Surf is still sizeable…. NW 7-9ft @ 12-16sec’s, not too cold this morning, around 45 right now. Sun is out, looks like a nice day to be here……. Don’t know if I will get out…. pretty busy getting caught up after the week and the very busy weekend, and this morning, we get to go sit with the accountants……. yep, just a fun morning in the works!! Hell Yes!!! going to try to get out when we finish up…. sdn might be the place…… Tuesday is showing some promise for IB, W 6ft @ 13 sec’s and light S winds….. tide should be right in the morning…. Wed., about the same, W6 with light SE winds. Thursday might require a bit of a drive…. SW10ft with light SE winds. Friday, same story… SW9ft with more SE winds with gusts 20+ Didn’t look too bad out in front this morning…….
