Not as cold this morning, about 41...... Light N winds today, swell W5-6ft @ 12 sec's, high tide around 10:30a , IB looking "surfable", but junky...... SdN probably the better call this morning, but as the wind might pick up later , and as the tide heads out, might be better elsewhere. Sunday W 6ft @ 17sec's, but N winds picking up to 20+mph..... Mon - Wed W7-8ft with NE winds on monday, SW on Tuesday and NW on Wed......

did finally get out...... water was a bit colder, but glassy and waist to chest high fun lefts that went on forever....... only about 10 people out. My other "aged" surfers were complaining of the cold, but I guess with the 5/4 Boz, 5mm xcel boots and 3m xcel gloves.... no hood, I was fine..... maybe I just have some extra padding that they don't!?!?!? Surfed with some fun guys out there today, lots of smiles, and good attitudes........... hope to get more on friday!? mark mekenas mark@cannonbeachsurf.com www.cannonbeachsurf.com

Not looking as clean as I hoped it would be today, but the swell did drop to W 6-7ft @ 8-10 sec's over here. Light E winds today, had to scrape ice this morning, but the sun is out and should warm up to 60 or so. Looks like today might be fun up at Indian, but alas..... the road is closed....... so.... SdN will probably be the spot of the day.... I was hoping for some Haystack rock time, but as you can see by the pictures, not so good........ Wed., Paloma's Birthday, swell drops to W 5ft @ 10sec's with light NE winds...... probably shorty's...... Thursday W4ft with S/Se winds...... maybe here???? Friday W 7ft with Lt S winds.... SdN Saturday W6ft with NW winds 15-20 mph....... Shorts......
Enjoy the "coronation" today!!! Media event of the year!!!
