Got out early with Arnold , Paloma and a late showing of DL Jim...... had some head high drops, mostly closing up, but some fun shoulders....even had to take some rights..... tide is going out.. minus low tide... supposed to pick up on Tuesday to W7ft.... think I will take an early morning drive north..... should be fun up there. Today, NW5@9 sec's.... N winds 20+ later.... Tuesday W7 @ 1-0 sec's, with N winds later.... Wed. W5ft, Thurs SW5ft, Friday W4ft...... Smaller than Sat., NW 2-3ft @ 7-10 sec's, but supposed to change to SW 3ft later this morning.... still N winds 25+ later.... Monday NW4ft, building a bit on Tuesday to SW6ft with N winds..... Wed. Drove around this morning, Indian had the minus low tide.... will no doubt be much better with some water in...cove looked like crap.... Not much to see this morning, ran into Stuck up, he was just driving around looking...... minus low tide at 7a, high tide at 1:40p.... so, I may go take a drive around 1/2 tide and see if there is anything to be found..... Friday is supposed to pick up to NW 7ft, with Sat and Sun NW6ft, but the N winds will continue to pick up later in the day.... should burn some of this overcast off today, but late tonight supposed to get some drizzle..... keeps things green..... Yes, the Bird is happy to be at work...... Swell today is looking pretty small and mushy.... I am heading up in a bit to see about a wave..... fun morning, swell picked up since yesterday..Bird and I got out first thing with Doc and Chris from Beaverton, had some fun waist to chest high glassy waves.... then Jyanial , The Foot and Larry joined us..... as I came in, DL JIm finally got his lazy ass out of bed and got out there...... The Bird , Andrew and myself got out this morning for some epic knee to calf high monsters...... good thing: no crowds..... report is calling for N5ft, bull shit.... more like NW 2ft @ 4 sec's, N winds already blowing at the cove, going to pick up to 25+mph..... Looks damn tiny today..... N winds already on the open beaches, swell looks more like 2 ft instead of the 4ft the reports are calling for..... 6 sec.intervals look about right..... Rest of the week picking up a little bit, NW 4-5ft with N winds all week.... looks like the afternoon winds will be with us for awhile...... And, NO, Cory, I will not read you purplicious...... Got out early...... waist to knee high mushers.... but, a good group to be in the water with.... water still cold.... gloves are a good idea..... NW 4-5ft @ 6-9sec's with the ever present N winds later in the afternoon..... low tide around 2:30p....
