Overcast this morning….. warm air (53) and cold water….. but the Swell is SW 3-4ft, with Lt. NE/NW winds today. The next 4-5 days looking about the same, except with the winds turning out of the NW over the weekend. Probably blow the cove out, but the famous Shorty’s should be the place to be!! minus low tide at 8:35a, high tide not until 3:15p….. going to try for a late morning session…….

DO YOU FART IN BED?
IF THIS STORY DOESN’T MAKE YOU CRY FOR LAUGHING SO HARD, LET ME KNOW AND I’LL PRAY FOR YOU.
THIS IS A STORY ABOUT A COUPLE WHO HAD BEEN HAPPILY MARRIED FOR YEARS.
THE ONLY FRICTION IN THEIR MARRIAGE WAS THE HUSBAND’S HABIT OF FARTING LOUDLY EVERY MORNING WHEN HE AWOKE. THE NOISE WOULD WAKE HIS WIFE AND THE SMELL WOULD MAKE HER EYES WATER AND MAKE HER GASP FOR AIR.
EVERY MORNING SHE WOULD PLEAD WITH HIM TO STOP RIPPING THEM OFF BECAUSE IT WAS MAKING HER SICK. HE TOLD HER HE COULDN’T STOP IT AND THAT IT WAS PERFECTLY NATURAL. SHE TOLD HIM TO SEE A DOCTOR, SHE WAS CONCERNED THAT ONE DAY HE WOULD BLOW HIS GUTS OUT.
THE YEARS WENT BY AND HE CONTINUED TO RIP THEM OUT. THEN ONE THANKSGIVING MORNING AS SHE WAS PREPARING THE TURKEY FOR DINNER AND HE WAS UPSTAIRS SOUND ASLEEP, SHE LOOKED AT THE INNARDS AND NECK, GIZZARD, LIVER AND ALL THE SPARE PARTS AND A MALICIOUS THOUGHT CAME TO HER.
SHE TOOK THE BOWL AND WENT UPSTAIRS WHERE HER HUSBAND WAS SOUND ASLEEP AND, GENTLY PULLING THE BED COVERS BACK, SHE PULLED BACK THE ELASTIC WAISTBAND OF HIS UNDERPANTS AND EMPTIED THE BOWL OF TURKEY GUTS INTO HIS SHORTS .
SOME TIME LATER SHE HEARD HER HUSBAND WAKEN WITH HIS USUAL TRUMPETING WHICH WAS FOLLOWED BY A BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM AND THE SOUND OF FRANTIC FOOT STEPS AS HE RAN INTO THE BATH ROOM. THE WIFE COULD HARDLY CONTROL HERSELF AS SHE ROLLED ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING, TEARS IN HER EYES! AFTER YEARS OF TORTURE SHE RECKONED SHE HAD GOTTEN HIM BACK PRETTY GOOD…
ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES LATER, HER HUSBAND CAME DOWSTAIRS IN HIS BLOODSTAINED UNDERPANTS, WITH A LOOK OF HORROR ON HIS FACE. SHE BIT HER LIP AS SHE ASKED HIM WHAT THE MATTER WAS.
HE SAID, ‘HONEY YOU WERE RIGHT, ALL THESE YEARS YOU HAVE WARNED ME AND I DIDN’T LISTEN TO YOU.’
‘WH AT DO YOU MEAN?’ ASKED HIS WIFE.
‘WELL, YOU ALWAYS TOLD ME THAT ONE DAY I WOULD END UP FARTING MY GUTS OUT, AND TODAY IT FINALLY HAPPENED! BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD, SOME VASELINE AND TWO FINGERS. I THINK I GOT MOST OF THEM BACK IN.

Had a ball….. for about an hour and a half, had some fun glassy lefts and rights…. surfed with stuck up and stinkbug, good people to surf with. Water still cold, but not as bad as a couple days ago….. and the sun is out…..damn it was nice!!!

OK, got a complaint about the small pictures, so I am back to sending the med. sized pics….. happy now Dave??? Small and Crappy this morning, checked out the surf with Stuckup, it really needs about another 1 1/2 hour with more water, so I guess I will do the errands, and head up to Seaside, and check out the cove…. SW swell, so probably won’t be much. SW 3-4ft @ 12-17sec’s, with N winds picking up later. Thurs and Friday looking like more of the same. The weekend is picking up, Sat. SW6ft with W winds, dropping a bit on Sunday to W5ft with light W winds….
OK, my rant this morning……. I am watching the news early this morning… 3:30a, and they did a story on an Indian Car Co., TATA motors making a car that is driven by compressed air, and can hit speeds of 55+…. sells for about $12,000…… And we can’t make one up here in the US????? WTF!!! We did buy the GEM cars a few years ago, and did like them, but we found with the max speed of 25, it was really not good , even in our little town….. if they can get them up to 40, and get the battery life up a bit, it would really be a winner…. I even looked at getting the cushman little trucks, the type the meter patrols use, but then we are back to gas and soso reliability….. But, you start looking at some of the small cars and trucks being used in Japan and Pakistan, India etc…. you start to wonder….. Why, with all of our genius’s here can’t we do it…… well, seems the answer is the FED’s.and Federal guidlines… and no, we can’t blame one party over another, as they both are guilty of dragging their feet, and trying to make it difficult to make smaller , low speed vehicles that would have function…. all in the name of “safety” ( the politically correct response to anything)… how about some personal responsibility…… hell, I would even sign a waiver to get one of those smaller trucks to haul my surfboard to the beach…… We are constantly looking for products made in the America’s, and it would be great to have GEM (made in America) beef up their cars and get the Fed’s to lighten up on some of the requirements… States too!

OK>….. went out this morning with Noho and Dreadlock….. we had some fun waves, even had some head high munchers….. swell really picked up for about an hour, then dropped off to some mush ….. Had some long closeouts, the ones that started at the north end, and went to the south….. no shoulder, just one huge wall….. but, one damn great drop!! Stinkbug Jules came out, then finally, Samoan showed up…… feeling a bit groggy…… also saw the Pam out there as well…… for a while, it looked like a chinese board convention….. people were all over themselves……

Overcast again this morning, air temp 50….. Swell….. damn small! SW 2-3ft @ 10-17 sec’s…… high tide at 1:20p. Minus tide this morning, so , going to give it a couple hours, then drive up to Indian and take a look…… hell, as small as it is, might just go behind the shop for some beach break! Looks like it will be like this through Friday, picking up Sat. to W5ft, with some light W winds…… Still, have to go for a paddle at least…… And, today we are getting Noho back in the water…. and, I think Samoan Eric will launch the 10′ Linden “stinger”….. but we all get to take turns!…..

Went up to Indian this morning, minus low tide….. going back up in a couple hours, let some water in….. Arnold and S Eric were up guarding the parking lot… the “foot” showed up……. SW 3ft ???? didn’t see it but , the “reports” say it is so…….. Small, and intervals about 10 sec’s… supposed to get NW winds later with gusts 35+mph…. so far, I am wondering where the “reports” are generated….. must have been a big cocktail weekend……
